ENVEA Global, a French company in which the investment fund The Carlyle Group (NASDAQ: CG) has a majority stake, and a worldwide manufacturer of ambient, emission and process monitoring system, continues its growth story and announces the appointment of Trevor Sands to the position of CEO.
Trevor has extensive senior leadership experience in global industrial businesses. He was most recently Global President of Servomex Group, the global expert in gas analysis. Prior to this he ran the Control Valves business for IMI plc, he was Chief Executive of Cosalt plc and also spent thirteen years with Emerson, including leading the Fisher Valves European business and later running the Daniel Measurement and Controls Division. His early career was spent with Invensys, Unitech and Arthur Anderson in various finance roles. Trevor has also enjoyed ten years of international experience through his career, in Switzerland, the US and Russia. Trevor graduated from the University of Bristol with a Bachelor of Science (B. Sc.).
Trevor Sands’ main mission will be to accelerate the company’s growth, both organic and inorganic. In particular, he will oversee and expand the ambitious international business development strategy which is a priority for the Group. Trevor’s strategic roadmap will also include focus on product innovation and next generation technologies to guarantee the best solutions and additional services to ENVEA’s customers. Both objectives will be supported by exploring strategic merger and acquisition opportunities as well. Finally, Trevor will actively undertake to implement new processes and upgrade tools within the company to allow it to better scale and accelerate its growth.
